What a busy week and a half!! It has been extremely fun though. It seems like we have been going non-stop with church activities, babysitting or work, or just having fun.
Last Friday Hailey spent the night with Grandma & Grandpa Cormack. She LOVES staying with them and pushed us out the door. Eric & I then had a wonderful date going to see "Mary Poppins" the Broadway show in Dallas. The show was magnificient!!
Saturday morning we woke up and took Hailey to the Texas State Fair. The big Texas/ OU football game was going on in the Cotton Bowl (in the center of the fair) so the fair was packed out. Hailey didn't mind at all. She loves people and crowds. We had fun feeding animals in the petting zoo, watching the dog and bird shows, working in the Little Hands Farm, riding a couple of rides, and of course eating some good fried food.
This week we have done some cooking, hanging out with friends, and of course the usual work and babysitting. Today we are hoping to make it to the Pumpkin Patch. It has been so rainy this month that we haven't made it yet. We are hoping it is not too muddy. We will see.
The pregnancy is going well. I have less than 13 weeks left. The baby is moving like crazy. We are still working on a name, although Hailey still thinks the name is going to be Harry. Poor little brother.
Hailey is growing and learning more each day. We are almost completely potty trained!! I still keep a Pull-up on at night, but during the day we've been accident free for awhile. Praise the Lord!! It is amazing how all of a sudden it just seemed to click with her and she tells us and everything.
I will post some pics later.

100 Days & Counting
Only 100 days until the due date of Baby Boy Cormack!! We are still working on names for the baby, but we really haven't decided on anything specific. Hailey stills thinks we need a baby Harry, but lucky for us she thinks the baby in "her" tummy is Harry. I am now 25 1/2 weeks. Here are some pictures of me with my baby bump.

I have also included a few of Hailey from this week. She LOVES to dress up and do crafts. Too bad her cheering didn't help the Cardinals.

Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch
On Saturday, we decided to go back to Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch. This is 1 of the 3rd field trips and last spring Eric & Hailey went with me. Well, it rained like crazy that day and we weren't able to see everything. They gave each person on the trip a free ticket. We called our friend Marianne and she decided to come with us and bring her 2 girls. Hailey calls Morgan, her best friend.
It was a perfect day. The weather was in the 70s and the animals were very active. Here are some pictures from our fun day on the ranch.

Hailey petting the baby joey. She liked the kangaroos.

Hailey and friends on the train ride. She rode 3 times, but her friend, Morgan, hated it.

Our family riding the safari tram.

The animal closest to the camera is a donkey/ zebra mix.

Michelle, the capuchin monkey, was a lot of fun to watch.

Fun at Home
Since I'm home Hailey and we have been doing a lot of craft projects and playing. On Tuesday we decided to juice apples and then make Happy Apple treats. Hailey really enjoyed putting the peanut butter, chocolate chips, and marshmellows on her apple. They were really tasty too.

Hailey wanted me to take a picture of her in her braids and Princess t-shirt. Then I had to take one with her FAVORITE toys: Mickey and Daisy. What great Christmas presents! She takes them everywhere.

September is Over!!
It is hard to believe that September is already over. We had a great month. On Tuesday mornings I take Hailey to Toddler Time at the Lewisville Library. Hailey LOVES it. Her friend, Morgan, usually meets us there. They read 3 different books, teach 2 little rhymes, and sing 2 different songs. They also have a music time where the kids get to shake bells to the music. When we leave they send each child home with a craft, so this month we have made paper mosaic apples, a pig puppet, a paper plate fish, and a caterpillar. Hailey really enjoys doing crafts, so we try to do at least 2 a week. It also keeps me into the school mode looking for ideas on the Internet.
We also found out this month that we are having a BOY!! Eric & my dad are so excited that they will have a little man around. I was a little shocked (I totally expected to have another girl), but I'm starting to enjoy going to the other side of the baby department to look at clothes. He is due January 19, so I'm officially 6 months pregnant now. I have a small belly, but I can still fit in a few of my pre-pregnancy clothes. We are still debating on names. We have a few we kind of like, but nothing definite. If you have any ideas, please let us know.
I have included a picture of Hailey in her Big Sister shirt and her new Veggie Tale Larry Boy costume that will found at the store for $4.00.

Starting a Blog
Well, now that I am officially a stay-at-home mommy I have decide to start a blog. This will take the place of Hailey's Happenings website. I am just learning how to use this site so please bear with me as I will probably make lots of changes and even mess some things up.
Life is going well for the Cormacks. Summer is over :( Eric started back to school on Monday. He has orientation classes all this week and his students will arrive this coming Monday. School for TCA started on Monday and it is extremely weird not being there. I have been helping one of the teachers quite a bit, but it isn't the same. I really miss not being around my students right now. I'm sure once AWANA and others things start up I will love staying home, but right now it is just so strange.
We had a wonderful summer vacation with my parents. I have included a few photos from our trip to Ohio, Niagara, and Michigan.
